OUR HISTORY

From Bonnie Prince Charlie, caldestine christenings, a Moroccan Sultan's wife, and hardworking Victorian clergy who laboured to educate Muthill's youth, St James has a rich and stimulating history.

ABOUT US

St James is the oldest Episcopal church in Strathearn. Taking the place of Episcopal meeting houses that stood since 1698, St James was built in 1836 by R & R Dickson of Glasgow and has been a site of continuous worship ever since.
